At my high school, I was in homeroom 13 freshman year. My teacher was obsessed with the number, to the point when people shouted:"THIRTEEN!" in perfect unison whenever the number was mentioned.

My teacher also sold Homeroom 13 shirts, with the Latin word "triskaidekaphobia," or fear of the number 13. It's awsome.

In fact, I think Friday the 13^th is my lucky day. Nothing bad happens to me. Cool, huh?

Infact, anyone who believes in that nonsense has no sense of reality or reason. It's not unlucky. Wow, one more than 12 (This why they never mentioned Rufus, the 13^th Apostle, lol). It's just a load of crap in my opinion.

But if there is anything bad that happens, it will probably fall under one of these categories:

1) War declared with North Korea: Well, this is a given

2) Draft initiated: Also a given

3) My 2000-word term paper is due Monday (announced through e-mail): I haven't even started yet.

4) The government actually takes downloading of music/games seriously: This is bad for me, and a majority of the teenage world

5) Unlucky combo - 1&2: Bush says we'll have the war, but we need more troops enlisted
